Complaints Procedure
Accounting firm MOOS B.V. has a complaints procedure. This means we handle your complaint with care and, where possible, work with you to find a suitable solution. Below we explain what this complaints procedure involves.
When can you file a complaint?
If you are not satisfied with the way the work was carried out, you can file a complaint with our firm. You can also file a complaint with our firm if you wish to report alleged irregularities.
How do you file a complaint?
You can submit your complaint by email to info@moosamsterdam.nl. Please include:
- your name and address;
- the name of the employee whose conduct the complaint concerns;
- the date and your signature;
- a description of the conduct the complaint is about;
- the reason you are filing the complaint.
If you have a proposal for resolving the complaint, you can include that as well.
How do we handle your complaint?
We confirm receipt of your complaint within five working days. In this confirmation we inform you about the next steps in the procedure, including the handling period and the option to be heard.
We aim to resolve your complaint within eight weeks at the latest. Our decision on your complaint will declare it either well-founded or unfounded. Naturally, we will explain the reasons for our decision.
Disagree with the decision?
If you disagree with the decision and the complaint concerns the conduct of an accountant as referred to in Article 22(1) of the Dutch Accountants Disciplinary Act (Wet tuchtrechtspraak accountants), you can still file a complaint with the Accountancy Division of the Disciplinary Court (Accountantskamer).
In some cases you can also turn to the NBA Complaints Committee or the Accountantskamer in Zwolle. For more information, please visit the professional body (www.nba.nl).
